COVID-19 has left Myanmar and Thai families on Koh Tao island hungry and jobless. With a large portion of the island’s population relying on tourism to make money, it was no surprise to us help was needed.

Over the past year and a half our charity has been feeding hungry Myanmar migrant families using donated funds.

Volunteers, teachers and staff have been bagging groceries for families and hand them out amongst villages.

The majority of these families were from the Koh Tao International School, which was sadly closed due to lack of funding after 6 years. The school was home and support to 70 children, Right to Learn Foundation continues to support these children as much as it can.

We look forward to introducing our new RTL Soup Kitchen for The Hungry in the coming weeks.
